Sales Representative: South Gippsland


The Sales Representative’s primary function is to achieve their assigned sales operating plan objectives by attracting, prospecting and managing new accounts, servicing existing accounts, developing and maintaining customer rapport; identifying customer requirements for new and second hand wholegoods and resolving customer problems.


 Duties and Responsibilities

To provide professional, efficient support and to identify and resolve all issues in an approach consistent with the company’s values. 

  • Attend sales meetings, conferences and events

  • Planning professional demonstrations

  • Keep up to date with product developments

  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails

  • Handle any enquiry produced by the customer, investigate and provide the necessary feedback.

  • Responding in a timely manner to all to incoming email and phone enquiries

  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements

  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations

  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy

  • Complete lost sales reports

  • Attend start-ups of all products sold and train customer on correct, safe use of equipment

  • Gathering market and customer information

  • Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders

  • Make recommendations to the Sales Manager on new sales or marketing strategies

  • Work in a consultative manner with other departments

  • Recording sales and order information by entering into a computer system

  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

  • Feeding future buying trends back to the Sales Manager

Service Technician: Trafalgar, Maffra or Longford


The Service Technician, through the provision of hands-on service work, will ensure the delivery of diagnostic and repair services, equipment upgrades, fabrication, machinery delivery, mechanical advice and excellent customer service in dealing with all enquiries and assigned work orders.


 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of tasks including service, repair, test and maintenance of machinery

  • Inspect machinery or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects

  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships to work in a constructive and cooperative manner

  • Ensure that work is completed efficiently and that all information is available to facilitate invoicing being performed in a timely and accurate manner

  • ROs to be completed prior to commencement of new work. Unless multiple ROs are being worked on

  • Assist Service Manager to resolve customer complaints relative to service work with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention of all customers

  • Care for customers’ machines ensuring they are not vulnerable to theft, vandalism and weather damage while in the care of the dealership

  • Ensure the provision of quality service work which maximises profitability to the business. Once assigned, the technician is responsible for the job to completion

  • Handle customer enquiries tactfully, promptly and with genuine concern

  • All reasonable steps must be taken to protect one’s own and other’s health and safety

  • Act at all times in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety policy, procedures and standards.

  • Comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines and take corrective action when necessary in the performance of daily tasks
